TrueHelp ("we", "us") runs truehelp.ai and the booking pages at book.truehelp.ai. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- When you book a consultation: your name, email address, the time you choose, and anything you write in the booking form (for example, notes about your business).
- When you pay for a paid consultation: payment is handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid and limited details such as the amount and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to send.
- When you visit the website: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm, reschedule and hold your consultation, and to send you the related emails and calendar invitations.
- To take payment for paid consultations and to apply any credit we promise you (for example, crediting your $199 toward a subscription).
- To answer your questions and follow up on the work you asked us about.
- To keep our services secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google Calendar
Our booking system connects to our own team's Google Calendars, so it only offers times when we are free and can add your booking to our calendars. It reads our calendars' busy times and creates events for confirmed bookings. It does not access your Google account. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Who helps us process it
- Amazon Web Services hosts our booking system and its database in Canada (Montréal, ca-central-1).
- Cloudflare serves this website and protects our booking pages.
- Google provides the calendars and video meeting links we use for consultations.
- Stripe processes payments for paid consultations.
These providers process information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments. Some of them may process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent where we rely on it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
